Nurturing Healthy Bodies, Focussed Minds and Joyful Lives

Nurturing Healthy Bodies, Focussed Minds and Joyful Lives

Every achievement begins with two invaluable instruments, the body and the mind. Yoga Veekshan, the Yoga initiative of the Narayana Schools, brings authentic Classical Hatha Yoga to students and faculty, helping them cultivate physical health, mental clarity, emotional balance and overall wellbeing. Its vision is to offer Yogic methods that enable every individual to perform at their best.

Our vision is to provide students with a proper understanding of Yoga, so that they willingly incorporate 20 to 30 minutes of Yoga into their daily routine out of their own interest and commitment, rather than as an imposed activity.

Classical Hatha Yoga stems from a deep understanding of the mechanics of the body, and uses Yogic postures or Yogasanas, to enable the system to sustain higher dimensions of energy. By practising this profound science, one can change and enhance the way they think, feel and experience life. Hatha Yoga is about creating a body that is not a hurdle in life. The body becomes a stepping stone in the progress towards blossoming into one's ultimate possibility.
